Using what is known as Least Cost Routing, your calls are sent via our switch to national and international destinations by the best quality and most cost-effective route available. Many companies offer what seems to be good rates but there are often hidden extras, which don't become apparent until you receive your bill. Minimum call charges, connection charges and billing by the minute are popular ways that other companies inflate their prices. With Swiftnet, what you see is what you get. We bill by the second with no minimum call charge or any other hidden cost. How does it work? You can register any UK landline or mobile phone. Our charges are the same from either, but your mobile provider may make a charge depending on the type of price plan you are on. Residential clients If you have a BT line, you simply chose the type of service, fill in our application form and within 14 days your calls will be routed through Swiftnet without any further action from you (Subject to status). You will receive a monthly itemised bill for the calls you have made which will be collected by Credit Card. You have a full 14 days after receiving your bill before we take payment. There is no minimum contract term and you can cancel the service any time you wish. You keep your existing telephone number and continue to pay line rental to BT. In order to activate your account you will need to pay £25. Business clients If you have a telephone system, we will arrange for this to be re-programmed to route calls through Swiftnet, either through your maintenance company or by one of our engineers. You will then continue to make calls in the normal way without the need to dial an access code. If you have individual direct lines i.e. a fax or a private line, we can apply cps . This service allows you to call using Swiftnet automatically. It means that all your calls will be routed through Swiftnet, at Swiftnet 's low rates, instead of BT's high prices. All you need is a BT line. We will invoice you with the cost of the programming  but will reimburse you when your call charges reach 5 times the programming cost, so in effect all re-programming is done free of charge as long as you use the service. You will receive a fully itemised bill each month showing the cost of calls per telephone number, a summary by type of call and country called. Pin Number Service For no extra charge we can give you a PIN number that will allow you to use the service from any UK number, or an international PIN that can be used from over 20 countries, enabling you to make calls whilst abroad which will be billed to your home or office account.
