Swiftnet was established in 1990 and was the founding company of the Xfone group. Xfone Inc is a US public company and has grown, both organically and through acquisition, to achieve annual revenues in excess of $100M.

    Xfone Inc has three operating divisions:
    XFONE UK (Swiftnet) is a facilities-based carrier with switches in London providing national and international telephony services. Swiftnet provides services to over 350,000 customers each year through its channel partners. The company operates carrier-grade TDM and VoIP soft switches in its own hosting facilities. Switches are interconnected with all major UK landline and mobile operators and a wide range of international carriers. Swiftnet holds Ofcom licences for all UK number ranges.

    		XFONE USA (NTS Communica-tions) is a facilities-based carrier which owns class-5 switches in the Southwest and Gulf Coast regions of the United States. The business provides Fibre-to-the-Premises, local, broadband, long distance and international telephony services. The company has a ‘triple play’ service offering over its Fibre-to-the-Premise product. XFONE Israel (Xfone 018) owns switches providing international long distance and cellular service. The Company holds one of only four telecommunications licenses in the highly regulated Israeli market and has also received a license to provide Voice over Broadband service on an experimental basis in Israel.
